The others were too busy for the next 6 weeks or didn't answer phone/respond to voice mail. Although the job had to be postponed for 3 days, it was still completed within a week and done well.

It could have been a quick-fix option that would have gone wrong quite soon, but the gate posts were repositioned and the work was done properly, looking set to last. The price was reasonable, and it was a very smooth experience all around, after I had several other tradesman making much more fuss over the job than it merited. I'll definitely use him again, and I have no hesitation in recommending.
